Sam Roache

Sam Roache has over 15 years of experience in the grains industry across domestic and export markets. He began his career at Glencore/Viterra in logistics and origination roles, managing sorghum, containers, and Eastern States wheat. He later joined LDC, where he served as Head of Australian Grains and Global Head of Barley Trading. From 2020 to 2025, Sam worked as a private origination consultant across wheat, barley, and durum, managing large grower pools and significant FOB and CFR export programs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance (Kaplan).
